RESOURCE FILES

About the Resource Files
The Illinois and Wisconsin Government Finance Officers Associations (IGFOA and WGFOA) facilitate the exchange of documents used by government finance officers. Examples include auditing services requests for proposals, investment policies, banking services requests for proposals, financial policies, and purchasing policies.

Materials are contributed by members and posted in a searchable on-line database by IGFOA available 24/7.  Members are encouraged to contribute any non-copyrighted document that may be of use or interest to other members. We particularly are interested in materials that are routinely or periodically used and will save other members the trouble of "re-inventing the wheel." Materials and sample documents that can be used for training purposes are also sought.

How to Share Materials
IGFOA and WGFOA rely on members to provide relevant materials for exchange. Without the ongoing contributions of members, the resource files cannot be kept up-to-date. Review the documents and materials you have prepared in the past year. Are there any RFPs, policies, ordinances, reports to your board or manager/director that may be of use to another member? Do not assume that any documents are too basic, simple, complex, common or unusual. We receive requests for all types of materials. To share materials with other IGFOA members, please forward the material via e-mail to info@igfoa.org.  New materials are always welcomed.
