Legislative Committee
IGFOA policy is to remain neutral (abstain from advocacy) on specific outcomes of legislative proposals on both at State and Federal matters. Instead, IGFOA partners with the Illinois Municipal League (IML) to support the Legislative Committee by identifying legislative proposals that the IML believes may have a significant impact upon the finances of local governments in Illinois and providing legislative information that may be of interest to IGFOA members.
