Management Analyst | Elk Grove Village

The Management Analyst within the Finance Department performs various administrative, professional, and technical functions ranging from routine to complex.  The position's primary function will be coordinating the Village's budget program, procurement assistance, and financial management projects.  The position provides exceptional customer service, responding to and interacting with Village officials, Department Heads, supervisors, employees, the general public, and others within and outside the Village in a courteous, professional, and effective manner.  This position is under the supervision of the Director of Finance.

KEY ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Assist in the coordination and preparation of annual operating and capital budgets.
• Review expense reports, invoices, and requisitions for compliance with Village policies, legal requirements, and accuracy.
• Prepare Financial reports and surveys as required.
• Assist in coordinating month-end, fiscal, and calendar year end for audit purposes.
• Assist in the coordination of the procurement and bidding process.
• Assist with Finance related public relations.

Bachelors Degree in Public or Business Administration, Finance, Accounting or related field is required.  Masters Degree is preferred.  At least one to two years of municipal government experience is preferred.  Salary will be determined depending on qualifications, experience, and education.  Salary Range:  $56,787 - $100,152.
