Discuss pertinent economic and financial issues affecting local governments in Illinois. Join us to explore economic conditions and the pressures each exerts on local government fiscal health, and gather information to incorporate in your strategic planning, financial forecasts, budget development and economic development plans. COVID-19 impacts will also be discussed.
Program Description:
A joint forum of the Illinois City/County Management Association, Illinois Government Finance Officers Association, and the Northern Illinois University Center for Governmental Studies invite you to discuss pertinent economic and financial issues affecting local governments in Illinois.
Learning Objective: Participants will explore economic conditions and the pressures each exerts on local government fiscal health. Participants will gather information to incorporate in strategic planning, financial forecasts, budget development, and economic development.
