  • Shelter Needs – Blankets, tissues, wash cloths, deodorant, shampoo/conditioner, body wash, razors, and disposable water cups.
  • Junction Needs – 8oz hot/cold cups, coffee creamer, sugar packets, paper towels, napkins, and coffee.
  • Street Outreach Needs – Sleeping bags, large blankets, large garbage bags, tents (2-6 person), tent stakes, hand warmers, and tarps (8x10, 8x12, 11x11, 11x15).

HSHM is a Central Illinois leader in supporting people experiencing homelessness and living in material poverty conditions. HSHM’s current array of life-sustaining services includes a shelter for men, women, and families with children; full-service dining center for shelter residents and community members; Central IL’s first low-income food co-op; a community center where people can connect with one another; housing programs to speed re-entry into homes; and street outreach services to reach people who may not otherwise initiate the process of being helped. HSHM’s annual impact is 15,496 nights of shelter and 33,480 meals served.

If you are unable to participate in our donation drive, you can also support HSHM through a Monetary Donation or by purchasing items on their Amazon Wishlists.
