Why did IGFOA launch a new website?
As part of our ongoing commitment to enhancing the member experience, we have made improvements to the IGFOA member portal. The new site and member portal makes it easier to manage your membership, access member benefits, register for events and find resources all with one central location.
Do I need to create a new account?
- If you had an active membership, no. Your account was moved over from the old system. You will need to create a new password the first time you log in.
- If you are new to IGFOA, yes.
- Please note that creating an account does not mean you have membership benefits.
How do I activate my account?
Please reference the Login Help page for full instructions.
I didn’t get the password reset email. What should I do?
Check your spam or junk folder, and ask your IT team to allow emails from @igfoa.org. If it still hasn’t arrived after 15 minutes, contact us at [email protected] and we’ll help.
My email address has changed, or I’ve moved to a new organization. What should I do?
Contact us at [email protected] with your old and new information. We’ll update your record so you don’t lose your membership history.
Was my old password carried over?
No. For security, everyone needs to set a new password on the new site.
Membership Renewals
Is my membership still active?
Yes. Your membership status and expiration date carried over. You can see them under My Account once you log in.
How do I renew?
Log in, go to My Account and select Renew Membership. Renewal notices will start going out in early November.
Events
How do I register for an event?
Go to your profile, click Events on the right-hand side, choose the event and click Register.
- Make sure you are logged in first so member pricing applies.
I registered for an event before the new site launched. Is my registration still valid?
Yes. Registrations made before September 16th were carried over. Contact us at [email protected] if you have any questions.
Job Board
How do I post a job?
Log in, go to Job Board and select Post a Job. Fill in the position details and submit.
- Please note: make sure to log in first to ensure you get accurate pricing.
- Please allow 24-48 hours for newly submitted job posts to appear on the website.
Pricing:
- Members: $250
- Non-Members: $400
Can non-members post jobs?
Yes. If you are having trouble posting, please contact us and we’ll happily help.
What happened to jobs posted on the old site?
Any open positions on the old site were moved over to this site. If any updates need to be made to any standing positions, please let us know.
