Experience and attributes that will contribute to success in this role:
- Strong accounting and financial reporting background with at least 2 years of supervisory experience, preferably in a municipal environment
- Demonstrated capacity to think creatively and apply analytical rigor to complex financial problems, developing and implementing effective, well-thought-out solutions
- Highly self-motivated with a strong work ethic, consistently taking initiative to manage workload, meet deadlines and pursue continuous improvement in processes
- Ability to work with and communicate complex financial information effectively across all levels of the organization
- Experience using complex ERP systems as well as Google Workspace or the Microsoft Office Suite
