The Technical Accounting Review Committee (TARC) reviews accounting, auditing, and financial reporting requirements and advises IGFOA membership on their application to Illinois local governments. TARC serves as the official respondent on behalf of IGFOA to documents released for public comment by the Governmental Accounting Standards Board (GASB). TARC also determines the official position of the Association on other accounting and financial reporting issues as appropriate.
